I have often wondered what I would be like if I were born in a different place and time. Would I suffer the same anxieties, and make the same mistakes? Would I still feel constrained by society, and my body? Would I still need to set my thoughts free?

Not feeling it today. Being pushed from department to department, and no one seems to know exactly who should be helping in my 'specific circumstances.' I know there are people a hell of a lot worse off than me out there, but it sucks, and I've had enough.
So not the most positive experience of Mastadon so far. Continually refuses to recognise my login details, and I can only get back in by going through the email verification email link. A little frustrating. Tried forgot password, and it never sends me the reset link. Tried to report on GitHub and can't sign in there either. And breath.
Hey, I'm here, and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. No change there, really.
