I know mastodon is less about the numbers, but this is a good round number to remind myself how *invisible* I was on twitter. I was just begging algos to allow my art to be seen, for any clue if people appreciated it. 90% of the time all I got was void.

Fun fact: The reason you never heard much of cowboys going deaf from using guns frequently, minus hearing protection that is, is because black powder bullets created more of a boom than a crack, meaning there was actually LESS damage to the ears.

We make a lot of movies and TV shows about aliens who say they come in peace, and then try to plunder our world for natural resources.
If we had a hyperdrive, we would totally BE those aliens.
