@jbf1755 I saw that and thought it was really clever
@iolarah I think we all go on that learning curve as we figure this podcasting this out. Ironically my first episode is my most popular and I think “I promise it gets better!”
What’s the name of your podcast? I’d like to check it out!

@iolarah that’s really cool! Have you done any episodes on the jazz age or 40s big band? I’ve been wanting to do a bit of a personal study on the music of the interwar and war years.

Me too. It reminds me a Discord a little bit but it doesn’t demand your attention as much

@iolarah pleased to meet another podcaster! What is your podcast? I am far too scatterbrained for that lol. I interview historians and authors about their books and I bounce around from topic to topic depending on what interests me.

It seems to have a much more relaxed feel to it versus Twitter. I feel like there’s going to be a learning curve to figure out how to use this properly.

Hello. I’m new here from Twitter. I host a podcast called “Can’t Make This Up: A History Podcast.” I thought Mastodon would just be the new shiny place where we’re all expected to “peddle our wares” as it were. I was rather pleased to discover that this is not that kind of place. I’m quite interested to learn how this platform operates and meet some new history friends along the way.
