Sold 14 hampers of my backlist books at my son's school fayre today; a tenner a hamper (with chocolates, a pen and a bookmark added) all proceeds to the PTA. It was fun but I'm knackered now! So much peopling and noise!
More book nook library progress last weekend. Made 61 wooden block books, thirteen books with pages, a bookcase and a fireplace (not featured) and papered the walls with tiny newspapers that say things like 'Titanic' and 'Pears Soap'.

Making good progress with the book nook. I've been using PVA glue which is a little frustrating as I need to wait ages for it to dry but I'm hugely enjoying making it. I am making the books now - by sticking printed paper around tiny blocks of wood. Four done, fifty-seven to go. Then back to the construction and decorating!

We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary today. Such a lovely day with family and extended family. And particularly nice to be reunited for a happy reason.
Spider plant babies for the school Christmas fayre. I have also had my arm twisted to sell hampers of my books - author copies - with all proceeds to the school.
Will now have nightmares about sitting there like a numpty while all the other parents stare at me and no one buys my books. 😬
