Here's a weird thought. What if the reason that Google is changing the name from android to Android is that they plan to trademark Android™️ for use on the official Google version of the OS and leave the lower-case android to the open-source community?
If you're still using Chrome for performance reasons:
- Firefox is now faster than Chrome out-of-the-box
- Firefox uses less memory than Chrome
- Contrary to Chrome, Firefox does not restrict Ad blockers, which will make your browsing experience much faster (and safer).
Well, it's official. I am now an "X"-Twitter user. Recently it not only jumped the shark, it did a reverse 720, and landed into the gaping mouth of an angry megalodon. (Looks like Reddit might be revving up the kickstarter.)
I will stay on FB & Instagram, and play around with Mastodon & Threads.
