The more I learn about the Evangelical Movement, the more I realize it was created by people who genuinely wanted to be comic book supervillains. It’s leadership has always been the most despicable people who have only ever wanted a justification to be as brutally cruel as possible to as many people as they could.

I also should say it’s largely at my own behest. I do this constantly: find a new, niche RPG (though this one honestly has a broader appeal than most, and a solid fandom), have nobody to play with, be disappointed, attempt to GM myself, executive dysfunction gets in the way, then lose all the friends involved.
Discovered Shadow of the Demon Lord last week and am now planning to attempt to GM a game for my friends. Here’s hoping it doesn’t end in disaster like all of my other attempts to GM.

Patriarchy promotes them, people are deferential to them, sexism makes people dismiss them as a threat, and they in turn provide cover for violent bigotry and terrorist gangs like the cops or the Proud Boys.
It's a simple, predictable social hack in a white patriarchal culture but people keep falling for it anyway.
I've ignored radio for over a decade so I was annoyed by an ad this morning for a clinic that treats low testosterone in men. Because cis people can get all the gender affirming care they want. 🙄
