Unfortunately, fursuits.online suffered a database failure during an attempt to upgrade from v4.3.9 to v4.4.0. Many server dependencies changed between the two versions, and Something Went Wrong™ during our migration.
We were able to recover by restoring the site and database to last night's backup, but today's posts and interactions will be lost.
Terribly sorry for the inconvenience.

Mastodon EngineeringThe new 4.2.8 release is out today. It's a small update that introduces a mechanic that will automatically switch sign-ups to manual review if no moderators have been active for a while. This should reduce vectors for spam and abuse in the future.

Forgive the brief outage! We applied a critical security update to v4.2.7.
We also defederated from two “low-moderation” instances which were hosting multiple accounts which were spamming our users in Korean. If you are targeted by spam accounts, please do not engage with them, but make sure to report them. We will address them ASAP!
