Since 1995, the Boston Dyke March has remained committed to offering an anti-capitalist, intersectional, accessible, and fundamentally grassroots alternative to Boston’s Pride celebrations.

This is not a complete list, but these are the sort of things we’re looking at as we come up with the final list of tables, since we now get more applications than we have spots.
We’re excited so many people want to be part of our event and we hope this helps to explain how we’re deciding things.
How unique are the things being offered to our community?
What is the quality of any items sold?
How useful or unique are any services being offered?
Do they align with our values and mission?
Do they uplift historically marginalized groups including BIPOC, disabled, immigrant, trans, and other community members?
Are they queer owned/centered?
How varied are the selections we’ve made?
As a committee, we collectively review and vet all submissions and come to consensus on the final list.
The rest of this thread will be some of the questions we use to guide that process
We have designated 3 categories of tables, reserving 20-25 spots for each one:
1) Orgs & Nonprofits who provide essential services and support to the community
2) Clubs & orgs that center queer joy and community building
3) LGBTQ+ crafters, artists, and makers working in a variety of media/styles
We have ~67 spots available for our community tables. How do we choose?
Before 2025, we didn’t have to. But with so much interest the past few years, we had to come up with some guidelines.
