The Forest of Enchantments is a soulful masterpiece. Sita’s story has always intrigued me, but this book finally brought my heart to solace. I loved how the "holy" characters were stripped of their divine perfection—seeing the flawed, human nature of the Gods I grew up with made them feel real. Chitra Ma’am is doing incredible work for feminist literature, giving a powerful voice to a woman who was long defined by her silence. A beautiful, moving read! 🌿✨
