Family members had to be escorted into the library by LGBTQ+ community organisers due to the dozens of anti-drag protestors attempted to block the library entrance.

During the event, members of the women’s motorbike group reportedly linked arms to prevent protestors from entering the premises."

Another successful Drag Queen Story Hour defense in DC

On the 8th of April, another drag queen story hour was successfully held on Barrack's Row in SE Washington DC. A stout defense by umbrella-wielding drag defenders deterred anyone from mounting a serious attack and shielded the kids and performers from low level harassment.

Weeks ago, an attempt by Proud Boys to forcibly break throught similar defenses in Silver Spring was defeated outright. This time around, they didn't even try.
