@Gorfram @breyeschow Thanks! I've never seen it, and although even I know the ending, I didn't know the motivation. Honestly, it makes sense.
@breyeschow I now drive hundreds of miles out of my way to avoid being in Texas. I'm not trans, but we have to support our fellow humans, and if we don't resist their start with
#Trans, the rest of us will be victimized sooner or later.
@ashton I can endorse. For-profit journalism is important but too dependent on locally important advertisers to cover some really important things.
Google News is plainly suppressing the Musk-Putin story -- you can't find it in "top stories", which is absurd.
@GregPalast @ZDRoberts And they say all Trump voters are ignorant. Not so! In addition to the billionaires, there's this bunch.
@SnowshadowII I sympathize, but I hope Trump stays in my time line because we're having criminal trials exposing the whole rotten conspiracy and Trump is begging for mercy in sentencing. In fact, I would pay for admission to watch that!
@allenmichie A lot of the journalists disappeared before anyone came for them. The
#NYTimes isn't reporting on Trump's dementia or his threats.
@kbeninato I would say that Murdoch's business model is to appeal to low functioning people easily swayed by emotion. By having those as your audience, you draw adviertisers because this group will fall for anything.
#Murdoch #Rightwing #Journalism The Washington Post is covering up its shameful failure to report on this initially by talking about the backlash. Even in this article, the Post conceals Trump denial, at that same rally, of being a Christian, which would interest many voters.
If the Post's defense is that it's a waste of time to tell us the obvious, that Trump is a non-Christian wannabe dictator, but it certainly wasted our time with breathless reporting on Biden's age, which we also all knew.
