@Gargron The fact he did it twice, once to the crowd and once to the flag, and it was even more blatant the second time is crazy.

No one seems to be talking about the second one, when looks even worse IMHO.

@ward @normalnova I don't think Nexus are really a free speech activist. It's their site and they can say that an anti gay mod doesn't represent their site well and remove it.

They've not stopped that mod from existing, it can just exist somewhere worse where less people have to look at it.

When it comes to clearly hateful stuff, tolerance is what fuels it. People saying 'well I don't really mind ' normalises worse things to come. Give the inch, they'll take much more.

The squash I was thinking of was Brodie taking the TNT title from Cody, that was an all-time great squash that really didn't damage Cody at all.

Mox/Punk or Malakai/Cody are good examples too, AEW do seem to understand the value of a shock squash. WWE's best might be Goldberg/Brock in 2016.

@ArnoldBooker I don't like the idea of him working hurt, or *wanting* to work hurt.

That said, the nature of his character does allow them to do different kinds of matches, comedy matches, devil stuff etc where he probably wouldn't have to take many bumps.

I do think he's dropping that title to Joe, it's like 60/40 in Joe's favour. But if he can get better by then, or have Joe beat him relatively quick, it wouldn't hurt too much.

Getting squashed by Samoa Joe definitely isn't a burial.
