Arissa turned in the face of a gust of wind and began walking once more.

@TheWielder @SimpleDevourer "Why do you use such instruments here? What monstrosities do you face that merited creating such a weapon in the first place?"

Her voice is full of incredulity.

Her eyebrows furrow slightly. “You speak of magic. The magic of the Red Band. They killed many people. They carried strange metal objects that shot tiny metal darts with such force they ripped people apart, in ways an arrow may wish it could. Is this what you speak of?”

@SimpleDevourer @TheWielder “Fear has clenched my heart too many times for my liking. I refuse to allow myself to succumb to the fear of people attacking me. Besides,” she taps the pommel of her sword.

“I am well armed and I have experience.”

@SimpleDevourer @TheWielder Arissa stands there for a moment before dramatically turning around, her hand resting on the pommel of her sword. Her eyes study both of them closely before she responds.

"That would be... is that normal here? To stay with another person in such a manner?"

@GothamCreeper "I know not these strange lands you mention... who would name a kingdom 'the Lord of the Rings'? That seems... wordy."

If one feature traverses cultures and planets, it's body language expression among humans. Her eyebrows raise and lower while she talks. "I am not from here. I am, even now, using a translation rune in order to properly converse with you. Tell me, what is the name you use when you talk to common day folk?"

@GothamCreeper "What are you doing!? Do not TOUCH me!" Arissa smacks his hand after he grabs her cheek.

"Do people have no sense of propriety here?!"

@GothamCreeper "Are you calling me... do I look like a suckling babe to you?"

She sounds not in the least bit offended.
