Some people seem to forget that “No mean No” also applies to offering friends drugs or alcohol at social events. People should never have to justify their decision to stay sober - and just because people drink or smoke sometimes does not obligate them to do it at every single social event - nor does it ever make them a “Downer” I mean seriously people.
This is mostly a joke obviously, however (Despite the polytheism) there are a ton of obvious christian based assumptions that flavour the default metaphysics and religious concepts - even down to the idea that Clerics gain their power from FAITH itself.
I love exploring spiritual and philosophical ideas in fantasy games, and really want to see more diversity in what gets represented or introduced. Not limited to Abrahamic stuff either obviously.
After decades of having "Totally not Christian Crusader" clerics and paladins, I think someone really needs to introduce the hit new D&D class... a "Totally not Jewish Scholar" who gains power from debating the interpretation of an impossibly vast and sometimes contradictory collection of divine law. #DnD, #Judaism
City Slickers think that every small town is some suburban hamlet where you just drive half an hour to the nearest smartphone shop or w/e.
I fear that the next great genocide will be done in the name of the environment, as capitalism utilizes fascism as a tool to sustain itself into the future by simply killing potentially billions instead of addressing the inherent problems of a system built on endless growth.
Every day that fear grows as in desperation, people online voice support for various methods of “Population Control” with overt implications that genocide is mandatory for the future of the human race itself.
When it becomes impossible to prevent social media from collecting information about you, the only way forward is to poison the intel through the elaborate tactics of obfuscation and outright deception.
People need to band together to create an absolute torrent of useless information, outright fabrications, and other creative inventions to weaken the systems of automatic surveillance which are being created every day.
