This beautiful, immature, Cooper's Hawk was flying around the neighborhood today watching us play yard games because it was kinda warm out at 51°F. I was waiting for it to dive bomb our Frisbee. 😂

Went for a walk up in the woods today because all the bucks are dropping their racks. While I didn't find the antler sheds I was hoping for, I found a really cool toadstool, and the bark on that Sycamore tree is amazing!! #ItsTheLittleThings #NatureTherapy

A few months ago, I rescued 9 kittens that somebody dumped off on the side of a country road, and we kept the last two that didn't have a home yet. Cheddar is the first to settle in and adjust to the dogs, and she is thoroughly enjoying Christmas shows with her kid tonight. ❤️🎄🐱🎄❤️

This big boy just came flying out of the woods and scared off the doe and baby buck that come to my yard every day. I only ever have the two deer visit daily, but every once in awhile someone different shows up. I have seen six different bucks in recent weeks. I've lived here for 10 years, and I've never seen so many.

I'm starting to wonder if he's ever going to realize he isn't one of the dogs. He won't even eat cat food...only dog food. The day he starts barking, we're going to have to have an intervention...😂

This big boy showed up during daylight hours today. He is massive compared to everyone else who comes for dinner. There is a hierarchy to how things are done in nature. He eats first, and everyone knows it, but they still try to sneak a bite in, only to be chased off by him.
