I'm a GenXer trying to make friends as an adult. It's a lot harder than it sounds believe it or not. But if you feed me tacos and tell me I'm pretty, we'll pretty much be besties.

A few more deets... I'm a late-in-life lesbian. My family has been here so long that the U.S. southern border crossed us; we didn't cross the border. I can hunt with a bow. Pretty good with a gun. Can field dress a fish. And if you need someone for your Stuff Hit the Fan Squad, I'm pretty good for a dad joke or two.

Wonderful images, Carolannie. I've always been a fan of high contrast black and white photos. The ice in particular seems like the type of photo that would be hard to capture because of so much white values. Well done.

I think dancing nehked under the light of the Blood Moon would fix me.
But it won't happen in my area until 5am tomorrow morning and I'll be asleep. Plus it'll be kinda chilly for nehked dancing.

Maybe some hot cocoa tonight and think about nehked dancing in the woods under light of the Blood Moon.

Eeesh.
Not grippy handlebar grips --> bad.
Not grippy brake pads --> very bad.

Several years ago I built a single speed from an old Raleigh Sprite 27 frame. It unfortunately was way too tall for my short legs.

I kept the head tube emblem though.

Wowwww! That is such a cool looking ride.
I loved steel lugged frames and the deep well wheelset is really nice. The flip flop hub makes it into a single speed with coasting ability right?

And the wooden grips? What do you think of those? Seems like they would transfer the knocks and bumps a little more than spongey grips.

Hi everyone. Well I’ve been here a few weeks and it’s probably time I do an #introduction toot.

I never know what to write here.
Umm. Well, I’m a GenX Latina woman who is kind of starting over I guess. Looking for friends as an adult, which believe it or not, is a lot harder than it sounds.

I get the feels really big, love pretty hard and I’m loyal to my friends and loved ones to a fault... kinda like a golden retriever.

Writing microfiction, posting some watercolor sketches meaningful quotes and riding my bike.
Oh... and a month ago I had a birthday! 🎉
