There's an OOTS comic I keep bookmarked so I can re-read it once in a blue moon. In the first half of it I think the villain pretty nicely explains, well, that sentiment from the other perspective.
Kinda putting a fine point/different spin on the phrase, "justice delayed is justice denied."
That movie's soundtrack is really great in general too.
Landlords are being sued for colluding on rent increases. When more than 90% of units in large buildings have their rent controlled by the same software, it acts as a cartel to raise rents. If all landlords can coordinate rent hikes, it puts pricing power in their hands.
That's a heck of a series.
That was the moment I checked out of reading the comics. I read all those issues up to that, and when we got there I had enough. Like, I got the point - that world was f*cked and it wasn't getting better. Just seemed like the same bleak story playing out repeatedly, so I didn't feel like I'd be missing anything if I dipped out.
