In this picture are, not one, but two footpaths I made through our backwoods. I recently discovered that spring storms had dropped several trees across my paths. Paths that were hard work to create and require constant tending to keep them clear for me and kids.
What do we do when our hard work is undone by disaster?
We roll up our sleeves, sharpen our tools, and call our friends.
The only way anything good comes into the world is if we put in the hard work to make it, again and again.
