Here’s a little sneak peek at the new beaver notes 5.0 beta coming next month, now written using Tauri.
#opensourceOur app is ~500MB on macOS. It could be 50MB. That’s a 10x shrink, but it means rebuilding from the ground up with Tauri.

Beaver’s next release was originally planned to focus on encryption, sync improvements, and a long-awaited UI refresh. However, while working on these changes, we uncovered a problem that may require a much bigger decision

Leaping into the new year
