It's happening! Everybody stay calm! iCloud, OneDrive, and Dropbox have all been updated to support the new progressive sync mechanism, with Google Drive and WebDAV still to go!
💖 Thanks for your feedback! We appreciate everyone taking the time to share their thoughts. Since we don’t have a direct way to reply on GNOME Software, this will have to do for now. We have fixed some pasting issues, which should resolve the RAM usage problem. Permissions are quite tricky, we are working within Flatpak's limitations. While some permissions, such as Wi-Fi, are necessary for the app to function and update, others, like full disk access, could be reviewed.
We’re putting in the work to bring you version 3.8.0 and the highly anticipated stable release of Beaver Pocket! It will include note sharing, better PDF support and drawing, smoother syncing, and more. While we code, here’s a sneak peek at the new set of icons. Share your thoughts in the comments!
Here’s a sneak peek at what we have been working on for the past month and a half. The mobile app and its new components are almost ready; we are still adding some finishing touches to the paper block and improving accessibility. The release candidate will be available by mid-November, with a stable release coming soon after we receive proper feedback.
It's amazing how seamlessly #BeaverNotes runs on #COSMIC right out of the box. I love how well-integrated it feels. Kudos to the @system76 team for all the incredible work they do. I can't wait to see how COSMIC continues to evolve.
Say hi to the new mermaid block, based on mermaid.js. It allows you to insert diagrams and charts in your notes by simply typing ::mermaid in the editor. Much like the Math Block, the mermaid block has been built for Beaver to provide the best user experience and make your notes yours.
Integrations are coming to #BeaverNotes! This new feature will allow compatible third-party apps, like web clippers and to-do apps, to create and delete notes and labels.
Third-party apps will need user permission to interact with Beaver. Users will choose what permissions to grant, when to disable the integration, or completely revoke access. Third-party apps will only operate on the data they generate and won't be able to access the content of your notes.
