It's so hard to move to a new social media platform these days since people don't want to leave the platforms, they are complacent with and already following people on no matter how bad they get. I have 233 followers here and 113k on Twitter despite most people following me say they dislike Twitter 🤣

It's a hard problem to solve. But everyone should be everywhere & don't put all your eggs in one basket ever!

Just a heasd up everyone I got severely hacked so if you see anything funny from any of my accounts or services notify me. And yes I'm aware my YouTube channel was deleted. I'm working to recover but this will take a long time because the LastPass breach combined with my trust in them early on was a bad combination.

This gets so much better 🤣 Donald Trump doesn't even get all the proceeds from the "Trading Cards" the scammers just licensed his likeness to make, and he doesn't even know what an NFT is!

Not only that but trading on secondary market 10% more goes to creators, not Trump and none of it goes to the 2024 campaign! 😆

Yeah, I'm still learning about it so I'm not 100% sure on things. Maybe I'll ask ChatGPT about it 😉 That being said I might create my own server and lock it out just to have my own account on it so I can go to other servers but not risk losing my account. Under my own server I would be like @[email protected] which might be interesting. I'll have to see what is involved in doing it and I would want to host it somewhere else not on my own computer since I don't have the bandwidth honestly.

@MattPCart Yup, and Netscape is dead because of it. Microsoft was like play ball or get pushed out of the market and they did it. What sucks it that Microsoft tried the same stuff with other browsers late on and got broken up as a monopoly and ordered to remove it and make it optional in many markets. Too bad that didn't happen back with Netscape.

@cody Nah it was on purpose, found out that @elonjet came here after being banned from Twitter by Elon yesterday and he didn't want anyone linking to him so he marked all the invite links as suspicious.

@aesthesia917 The good news is something open source like Mastodon can't ever be purchased because people will just replicate the codebase and keep it going somewhere else. Some open source projects have sold out before but the foundation of the code pre-sale has always remained under GPL so people can keep using it.

@Story_Teller It's getting so bad over there. Elon Musk today just suspended like 20 journalists for reporting on his Chapelle Show boo'ing and he claimed they doxxed him by sharing a story about him banning a guy who has had a page for 5+ years that publishes airplane ADS data that is public domain. He's such a crybaby and honestly, I'm getting tired of it. I'm going to start transitioning over here for more little by little.
