Looks like Elon Musk is truly scared of Mastodon since today he started marking any tweet with an invite message in it as "Sensitive Content" so that followers won't see it in their home feed, and it won't show up under search 🤦‍♂️

I also confirmed that it wasn't just my tweet, multiple people came forward in my DM's and showed me that their posts after joining and tweeting also got marked as sensitive content.

Make sure if you ask people to join you use link shorteners to avoid triggering it!

@aesthesia917 The good news is something open source like Mastodon can't ever be purchased because people will just replicate the codebase and keep it going somewhere else. Some open source projects have sold out before but the foundation of the code pre-sale has always remained under GPL so people can keep using it.
