Report via i24: Fordow, Iran nuclear enrichment site is under attack.

On 13 June, Israel eliminated Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the Aerospace Forces of the Iranian Armed Forces

He was directly involved in supplying Shahed drones to russia, says Andrii Kovalenko, head of #Ukraine Center for Countering Disinfo

Israel eliminates Iranian commander, who helped Russia to kill hundreds of Ukrainians with kamikadze drones - Euromaidan Press

Israel confirmed killing Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the Iranian commander who personally orchestrated drone shipments that have terrorized Ukrainian cities for years.

That is an existential threat to Israel (and the entire region, including Saudi Arabia). That was the reason.

This is not about whatever pet issue you think “really” it is. It’s about ending a decades brewing existential threat to the lives of 10 million Israelis.

May this be over quickly with as little civilian loss of life as possible and quickly lead to the end of the IRI and the freedom for Iranians.

Seeing a lot of comments by “internet experts” on the ME about the Israeli government’s “secret” motivations for this strike. These “subterfuge” reasons are nothing but conspiracy theories. The reason for the strike now is because Israeli intelligence saw a nuclear threat that has lasted too long.

That’s it. That’s the reason. Diplomacy failed. The IRI responded to it with more recalcitrance. The IAEA said the IRI was violating its obligations. All of this happened this month.

This is not new. Israel eliminated Saddam Hussein’s nuclear threat in 1987.

Israel eliminated Assad’s nuclear threat in 2007. For two decades, I have heard this PM, even before he was PM, say what we have spent 2000 years learning: “When someone tells you they want to destroy you, believe them.”

The IRI has regularly threatened to destroy Israel.

A nuclear IRI would have that capability. Israel has said that Iran was reaching the point of enrichment where it would have had enough fully enriched uranium for 15 nuclear weapons. 1/2

Man, the “secret agenda” posts showing up in my socials are really off the charts.

I wonder if this would have been what happened in 1987 if the internet existed. I don’t remember seeing this in 2007, but maybe it wasn’t as clear then who was responsible.

Whoo boy. This proved to be true.

Bracing myself for the inevitable shit ton of awful hot takes by newly self-declared regional experts.

“What happened was completely unexpected” 🙄

“This attack did not happen in a vacuum. For days, Hamas has openly threatened our team, our aid workers, and the civilians who receive aid from us. These threats were met with silence.

The GHF holds Hamas fully responsible for taking the lives of our dedicated workers who have been distributing humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people at the foundation's sites in central and southern Gaza.

Tonight, the world must see this for what it is: an attack on humanity. We call on the international community to immediately condemn Hamas for this unprovoked attack and continued threat against our people simply trying to feed the Palestinian people.

We will release additional information once it becomes available. Despite this heinous attack, we will continue our mission to provide critical aid to the people of Gaza.”
