@alannawrites Fun! I used to make wire-wrapped pendants, but I've never seen macrame versions. Cool. : )

@nlowell Will check it out. Thanks!
@doramalech Congratulations!
Curious about any writing apps (writer toys) that might be particularly useful for generating ideas and structuring. Found Scrivener kind of overwhelming. Trying (free trial) LivingWriter, which looks more user-friendly. Used to use Idea Spinner for brainstorming (doesn't work on my new computer--but pen and paper are fine for this bubble technique). #writingcommunity
@elizabethtarver I think they're helpful in promoting your work, and sometimes literary journals take a look at them--although they're definitely not deal-breakers in publishing or not publishing your work. Also a nice way of compiling your credits/keeping track of everything. This is something I need to do for myself. I have a P&W page in their directory https://www.pw.org/directory, but my own website would be good. Someday . . .

@doramalech @thehopkinsreview Others we keep on our nomination radar: PEN/Dau (had two $2,000 debut fiction winners a few years ago), Best Microfiction, Best Small Fictions, Best of the Net. One I haven't totally figured out: Best American Poetry. Sometimes I hear from them about the process; sometimes I don't. If you have any info on that, please share. And I'm checking with O'Henry for details. Thanks!
