The WINNER of the 2023 Compton Crook Award is Alex Jennings for The Ballad of Perilous Graves!

This award is presented at Balticon to the best of each year's English language first novel by an author in the field of #sciencefiction, #fantasy, or #horror by the members of BSFS.

The Baltimore Science Fiction Society (BSFS) released the names of the six finalists for its 2023 Compton Crook Award for best first novel in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres.
