Conservatives lose big in UK local elections. Seems that conservatives have created larger economic problems than can easily be fixed before patience is lost, again.

Listen. I am an internet ancient. I stood amidst LiveJournal as it crumbled while I watched the fall of Flickr. I was there both times Tumblr burned down, toasting marshmallows over its smouldering ruin, laughing at the folly of Verizon. The death of Twitter was foretold by the dark prophecies of the forgotten internets. I am there to witness its passing as the old internet is dying and the new internet struggles to be born. Now is the time of monsters.

One of the most important reasons we have libraries is to ensure that there are no barriers to access knowledge. Not all families can afford books, nor can they access the internet (even if they can afford it).

This is an equity issue and a First Amendment issue. Censoring the bookshelves is a step to regimented thinking. Nobody should support it.
