@bsh Checking ideologies is packed with pathology, lying being just one. Not even the CIA can foretell intent, and that is why a violent jihad can hide within the apparent piety of a protection racket that fronts as a religion: islam, the most insane of the Abrahamics. The ex-cop's religion is indeed pertinent to the investigation: Lee Rigby, 9/11, Bataclan, etc.

The media conveniently gets amnesia about any links to any Bataclans or Lee Rigbys. The Sudanese ex-cop was religious? Yes or no? For example, the first muslim entering Zuni territory was executed for misogyny and murder of their women, so we're not quite ready to take the racist bait superimposed over this Belfast story, and with such haste superimposed over this story.
