@markhertling - a few things not in his favor:

1) the youth vote was stronger & more influential in the mid-terms outcome this time around and will be even more in 2024.

2) He is not immune to prosecution for all of deeds currently under investigation, though he thinks announcing now might give him shelter.

3) Media support is weaker this time around. He doesn't have Murdoch's media arms behind him.

4) Support within his family is split. Ivanka is staying clear & away.

Reminds me of the first Boston Terrier we acquired as a pup way back in the early 1970s.

We named her 'Trigger'. She was very high-strung and always ready to bolt when we opened a door to let her out.

I have a large 250 gallon heavy white HDPE recycled food-stuff container with one downspout feeding into the top of it, draining one 34' eaves trough on one side of my garage.

A good overnight rain fills it to overflowing by morning.
