After doing a test render, it's about 2-3 times longer than my 3080ti in Cycles. I won't complain about the extra time.

Being able to take blender whenever and put a scene together is awesome. I could move all the rendering to my main PC, maybe set it up to render over the network. This is so exciting!

My friend let me buy his 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro and let me pay it over time. It's really exciting to have something portable for art. It makes me realize how powerful Apple silicon can be for Blender on the go. I'll also get my Huion tablet set up with it too!

It may not be the most powerful, but it's a great option for a portable studio. Maybe down the road I can look into a more powerful MacBook. The render times on the M4 chips are insanely good for a laptop.
