The way forward is clear. City of Berkeley must build more protected bike infra to reduce VMT and encourage active transportation. This is what a clear majority of Berkeley residents want.

Pilots & CFIs, a new ACS Companion Guide is available, but just minor changes. The FAA continues their confusing policy of using Change numbers, making it easy to unwittingly have an out-of-date version. The cover says 2023, but actual release is December 2024. 🤦♂️

A claim often made in Berkeley is that protected bike lanes discriminate against people w/ limited mobility who must drive & therefore need to park.
The truth is safe infrastructure provides people with limited mobility more options, not fewer options.
Also, don't park like a jackass.
Cars must turn right at intersection of Hopkins & Josephine Streets, but bikes are allowed to go straight & continue on Josephine. Drivers always seem surprised when bikes cross here. Maybe some green paint or some signs? Also, some drivers just weave around the posts.

Seems a free-thinking BMW driver (CA lic # 9GDR515), unencumbered by rules & presumably attending some sort of event at Covenant Wines, parked so as to block the Lower Cordonices Path entrance off 6th St in Berkeley.
