We’ll be putting the AH’s in your HA’s.

The first rule of the Austin hacker scene? You have to talk 🤐

@hdm sits down with Elliot Fielding to talk about the culture of participation, early days of Metasploit, and his journey from Whataburger rejection to joining the Air Force at age 16.

Tonight. AHA 0xE8

If it is your first time attending, you will give an “intro talk”. This is an opportunity to share about yourself and allow us to get to know you. This is an important part of the new attendee process. Please take it seriously.

If you’ve given an intro talk before, but have not done a regular talk (5 to 10 minutes), you are required to give one at your next attendance. So please have one whenever you decide to come back again.

Lastly, always be aware of our rules. We take them very seriously.

See you tonight!

41 years ago, #aha released the first video for "Take On Me", a standard fake band performance video that probably cost as little as possible. If you've ever wondered if the song would have been a hit without the video, I think this answers it. They released the song several times, only having major success once the animated video was made. Also interesting to hear the differences in this version of the song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAqW9uJi2-g #1980s #MusicHistory #MusicVideo

I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS
For starters, we’re wildly accepting of neurodivergence.
For the record, the AHA! that this account usually talks about has nothing to do with the Department of Health & Human Services.
