There is now a Canadian server (mstdn.ca) that should grow quickly with more Canadian content.
Just have to figure out now how to move servers.

Migrating a Mastodon Account
The Mastodon instance I’ve been using, mastodon.technology, is shutting down in a few months, so I’ve migrated my Mastodon account to a new server. I wanted to share the steps I went through in case the details are helpful to anyone, especially others migrating off that instance–especially a warning about when you lose access to your old account. I don’t know if these are the best steps to follow, but they worked for me.

Gurdeep Pandher of the Yukon@dharrison I can very much relate to that. Living already with some of the symptoms that also come with #longcovid I am appalled how anyone would WANT that for the rest of their life. And how those in charge seem to be a-OK with thousands of people developing severe disabilities. As long as they prop up the economy by continued consume.

@davidfisman welcome! What happened with your CounterSocial account? Did you decide to rather go with mastodon or will you keep using both?
