If you're doing something for the third time, it's time to automate it.
Finally automated custom kernel compilation whenever mainline is updated and all it took was 1 script, 1 python program and a bunch of patches (I know oldconfig is probably a more reliable option.)
@legion303 Loved mine too until I realized that it wouldn't max out the performance unless it was plugged in, which effectively ruined the battery and bricked it into a desktop. It's now been cannibalized into my actual desktop.

And yes, 100% agree, there is an elegance to the speech that easily lends itself to multi-layered jabs and puns.
