My friend's got this book project on Unbound; https://unbound.com/books/virtual-cities/ - it's a study of cities in videogames. If you like videogames, urban planning, and maps, it's probably your kinda thing. :D
Virtual Cities

A beautifully illustrated atlas exploring and mapping the spectacular imaginary cities of video games.

T dug up some pictures of the boy-cats as babies.

@InspectorCaracal I've been trying to export my posts from Tootplanet, but it didn't work - I either got the message that the archive was being compiled, or a link to request the archive, but never a download link. Is there anything you can do, or is it just a thing that won't work?
Follow ALL THE PEOPLE from ALL THE ACCOUNTS (or something)
When I was a kid we used to hunt around for scorpions at night with a UV lamp. (UV makes scorpions floresce.) We didn't do anything to them, just looked at them for a while and moved on. Anyway I figure that's probably the arachnid equivalent to a UFO encounter.
My #goals for the #weekend:
- two loads of laundry
- actually catch up with the dishes
- tidy up at least a bit
- write something

when old movies or tv shows are racist or sexist or horrible in some other way, it's almost never actually that "oh, it wasn't considered offensive at the time," or "nobody cared," right

there were *always* people who cared, I guarantee it

it's that the history we now consider authoritative has failed to record the voices of those who cared

Watching the finale of #OnceUponATime season 1 now, then going to bed.
I hear the #series got worse later on, but for now it's entertaining enough.
Graham is cute ^_^
All right. After several false starts, here I am with my new account. The server with my previous main fediverse account, @[email protected], will be closing down by the end of February. I'm not sure if this will be my main, or if it will end up being @[email protected], but I guess we'll see.

If you know me, do you have any recommendations whom I should follow?
@Anke @Alexis oh, speaking of geometry. "Non-Euclidian geometry," that common line people will pull out if trying to be Lovecraftian? It's simply geometry that's not on a perfectly flat plane. Such as the geometry of weird spherical surfaces like that strange place called Earth (one reviewer called that place, "mostly harmless," but I'd still advise caution as is reported to have humans on it).
