The new #SFGiants warm up show on KNBR is a tough listen

@VTDARKSIM @protonmail I suspect those apps on Roku are relying on the Roku OS hardcoding of DNS requests to Google. Search the web “roku dns 8.8.8.8” and you will see some informative results.
Since it appears you’re using a router that’s configured to use Proton, the router might be flexible enough to allow you to forward dns requests to a specific IP address. Try using the support info at https://support.unlocator.com/article/131-how-to-bypass-forced-dns-on-roku as a foundation and use the DNS IPs Proton uses (or, forward 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 to your router’s gateway address if Proton’s external DNS servers IP are not known).
#Backblaze taking a beating on Twitter over the price increase. I’m not happy myself — my current term expires in late 2024 so I have a year and some change to evaluate alternatives.
The issue will be finding those that offer similar services and support along with a friendly UI on the web and client.

I gave up waiting years ago and currently using Airplay from my iPad or Mac to various modern Roku devices or using a Fire TV Stick if I’m on the road.
