So I noticed this in every shot I got last night of the stars…a faint spiral around the seven sisters of the Pleiades. Looked it up, and it turns out my 28mm wide-angle lens managed to capture a distant galaxy.
Did I just snag the clearest picture of Mars I’ve ever taken (screen grab of much larger image)??

On the left, ISS ascends in WSW and is photobombed by what *might* be a Leonid.
On the right, ISS disappears in the sky due to the sun’s position.
