Nice to hear from someone so soon here. to answer your question, I use Linux mint 18.1 Serena as my base, with Linux Kernel 4.10.0-14 with a lot of tweaks and custom configuration... I have way to much time on my hands..lol. No unfortunately... I'm not in Europe, wish I was. I'm in the US were the inmates of an insane asylum are running the place.
