@atomicpoet I guess this is a critical moment for the entire fediverse. Only well moderated servers will keep (and increase) popularity. All the noise from these #Twitter waves should settle with time. My hope is that active moderation keeps a good/healthy environment. Many of those cheering hate and bigotry in the #birdsite will try to get into #mastodon instances too, but they eventually will get disappointed when they learn about #fediverse moderation system.
