My funniest character is Thea Briar, Molly's werewolf mom, or Rowan, my fire witch MC. Rowan would describe Briar Hollow, the town where she lives, as a "hell scape of emotionally stunted goody two-shoes who wrote the book on toxic positivity." (No one in Briar Hollow is allowed to practice black magic, and even the idea of it scares them so badly that their entire culture has been impacted).

The MCs in my sapphic urban romantasy, Cinders and Soul, are Rowan Edenwood, a temperamental fire witch working in an apothecary, and Molly Briar, a succubus adopted by a witch and a werewolf who works in the local plant nursery.
