I’ve always been super super skinny. Like underweight on the BMI scale my entire life.
Just over a year ago.. I had surgery and I guess my metabolism doesn’t have to compensate as much and I’ve gradually gained weight to be within the normal weight boundary for my height. For someone who always been c.44kg.. a jump of 9kg has felt insane - up 20%. My face looks healthier but I’m having to deal with a small gut.
And so I’m both loving the gain but also struggling with how my body/tummy looks 😬
My (relatively nuanced) take on #HarryPotter and my ask.
No amount of money you give Rowling matters. She makes money from deals and interest on her existing wealth far in excess of the take she will get from you purchasing her products. The ways that rich people make money off of you are too many to count, mostly will be invisible to you, and the amounts far outstrips any paltry sum you would give.
But.
This means that, while I don't care if you _buy_ it, my ask is much more difficult.
Don't watch the trailers.
Don't hate-watch it or watch people hate-reacting to it.
Don't watch content creators when they do covers of the music.
Don't participate in any viral trends that use the media.
Don't read reviews.
Don't check their social media accounts or press releases.
When do talk about it to scorn it, don't link to the material or use imagery or iconography from it.
Yes yes you shouldn't buy it. Others will judge you for buying it and I won't say that they are wrong to judge you for it. that's just not my ask. This is also _just_ my perspective.
Which is that what I care most about is denying it _mindshare_.
I want the property to vanish until it is only vaguely remembered, a footnote, and Rowling's only remaining legacy is her transphobia.

After my laser appt earlier this week.. I’ve been contemplating having my tattoo recoloured. It’s looking a tiney tiny bit faded. And if I’m gonna have it done.. it’s feels like now or never.
Coupled with laser eye surgery and possibly electrolysis for the odd few greys the laser can’t remove.. starting to feel like its piling up.
FYI: the greys are in between my eyebrows (monobrow things). I love all my other greys. I’m very much looking forward to being in my full salt and pepper era.
Been struggling with a chest infection for a few months and a dip in my libido for a while.

And we ended up laughing at just how different our skin tones were and I made a slightly bitchy comment that his 🍑 desperately needed some ☀️ and how it was outrageous that his poor 🍑 is so white at the peak of summer 😅
