Every election from now on is going to have American democracy on the line until the voters are too burnt out to vote anymore or until too many voters have been robbed of their ability to vote. In the end, voting alone for the status quo is never going to beat fascism. If we want this cycle to end, we have to make radical changes to our failing systems now or else we’re doomed.

This SCOTUS just created a national precedent based on a case where the defendant *didn't even exist.*
There was no gay couple. No one tried to get the plaintiff to make a website. Nobody.
But now the ability to refuse service on religious grounds is legal regardless.
We have several deeply corrupt conservative members of the Supreme Court that cannot be removed by any circumstance save death.
It's not even sure if expanding the court could work, given that situation.
But Biden refuses to even start the necessary fight.
We don’t need to see videos of dead victims of gun violence.
What we need is to ban guns.
Trans people across the US are facing erasure from a fascist Republican Party and I haven’t heard anything about what the Biden administration is going to do to stop this or combat it. Nothing besides “get out and vote!”
I don’t think Joe has my back.
Despite all that’s happened so far in 2023, seeing the wave of trans joy and support across the world today gave me hope that things will get better.

If Republicans cared at all about children, we’d ban assault weapons.
Forcibly detransitioning trans people is evil. So many of these laws being rushed through state legislature in the US intend to do this and worse. They won’t stop at forcing us back into the closet and they aren’t stopping at just trans people or gay people or just queer people in general.
Most people can no longer afford to retire and instead of trying to fix this so we can retire when we were promised, capitalism has decided not being able to retire should be the new normal.
This cannot be allowed.
