Sshhh, she had a big night 😝 #caturday

Have finished watching all of Love Island Season 3, including the Reunion show. I have never been into reality tv, seemed like a waste of time to me so I’d not watched it before. Was flicking through Netflix for a kovie and came across it. I got curious as to the format. We’re people blindfolded? So, I popped it on, got invested and watched the whole thing. So here’s a few thoughts : 1. I found the editing a bit insulting. It was clear they were manufacturing pauses and inserting facial expressions that were from other moments than the one they were filming. It was so obvious that it became distracting. I kept wondering why the show couldn’t afford better editors. 2. Why was everyone dressing up and the girls also doing their hair and makeup if Love is Blind and they can’t see each other? I was expecting a few more au natural moments. 3. It was clear that alcohol played a big part in at least one of those relationships to the degree that one relationship felt a bit too sad to watch. 4. How producers were willing to let crappy things happen just for drama and content was disturbing. The End. #loveisland #realitytv

So here’s the first two loaves of bread I made. I started a couple of weeks ago - my goal is to make two loaves a month. The bread was tasty and I was chuffed with it. It was a No-Knead recipe. I looked up best bread for beginners to bake on the Internet and found a list of seven. So I’m starting with those. Loaf two was a garlic and rosemary no-knead loaf. Also delicious, but much denser. Next I am making a quick bread. Apparently I will be adding vinegar to the dough. We’ll see how that will taste. #bread
