A friend asked me to post an occasional photo showing “the whole” me - i.e. what I’m up to when not writing or otherwise engaged with law, politics, activism. Today, I went for a good, long hike.

America!
Your elders fought the fascists all those decades ago.
Now it's YOUR turn!

So get up off your asses and fight!
Before it's too late!

A good friend of mine filed an election interference complaint against Danielle Smith yesterday, regarding her Breitbart interview. She then emailed all the federal party leaders, various MPs and media (including CBC, CTV, Bell Media, etc) asking why she had to read about this on Reddit, and why did it take them two weeks to report it to the Canadian public.

3/ Norfolk Southern must not be able to evade their complete responsibility for the mess they made in East Palestine. The MSM (eg Abby Philips and CNN this am) appears to miss the direct responsibility part and reverts to playing into the politics game – in effect letting the company off the hook.

2/ If a company/industry cannot and acts in ways that put the public and environment at risk then regulation is required to ensure it does. If that company lobbies to remove such regulations then either they show the required level of responsibility or those regulation gets re-enforced. Clearly with the numbers of derailments the railway companies have to be baby sat and they need enforced regulation to correct their irresponsible behavior.

1/ Norfolk Southern is responsible for its trains and rolling stock.
Did the government cause the crash ? – no terrible decision making and poor maintenance for whatever reason (costs, profit – certainly not poor knowledge) appears to have done. It was no act of god.
That company is responsible for seeing that the bearings on the rolling stock are functioning correctly.
That company is responsible for ensuring its trains run safely.

Quiz of the day -
67 mass shootings or 4 unarmed “balloons” –
Which gets the republican snowflakes the most incensed?
if only gaslighting was a real energy source it would solve the energy problem. The tories seem to take everyone for idiots. 4000 words for DARVO. Liz - poor me! Wow. Love the #PrivateEye piece. Apparently you can make this stuff up. #GTTO
