Our final cat introduction! This is Jemme. She's the matriarch of the cats (though not the household) coming in at 10 years old. She has anxiety issues, 3 teeth and drools when she's enjoying cuddles. #cats #catsofmastodon

Alright next cat! This lovely lady is Xena. We tend to call her 'Benaboo'. In her youth she absolutely lived up to her namesake. Full of energy, kinda aggressive. But, as she has aged she, once again like her namesake, has kinda mellowed out. She's about to turn 7 and until recently mostly communicated in soft grunts and huffs. She's finally decided to learn how to purr. Also, she snores. #cats #catsofmastodon

A tiny break from the parade of cats to share some colour from the garden. I live with my Mum (I'm her carer) and as she's gotten older she's gained an obsession for Geraniums/Pelargoniums. I'm not sure what the names of each of these are, but there's hundreds of varieties. It's crazy. Makes for some nice spring colours though. Time for our next kitty! This is Jaida. She is cross eyed and an extreme derp. She's also quietly dangerous. She's taken to jumping off my bookcase onto my head in the middle of the night and (while it's cute) she mistimed gently bopping my nose to wake me up and poked me in the eye instead. That one resulted in a hospital trip. Crazy. But she's also hecka soft so, I guess she's forgiven? The things we do for our critters. #cats #caturday #catsofmastodon
