I don't accept that #RichSunak PM of the Nat-Cs is .... smart

Yes he speaks reasonably well.

Yes he wears natty suits.

Yes he went to a top private School.

Yes he was part of a group that made lots of money betting against UK.

BUT he actually has not done anything smart. His period as an MP suggests he isn't.

Have the Nat-Cs not learnt anything? As soon as a Minister or PM is accused of breach of the Ministerial Code or malfeasance in public office, they arrogantly bat it away only to have to row back later.

Tiresome.

Un UK as in US, the battle now is between

democracy

and

authoritarianism

In UK it is enough to vote to get CONs out. Labour, LibDems and Greens can be trusted with our Democracy.

It is not in dispute that #SuellaBraverman asked civil servants to deal with a private matter, her speeding offence, whilst Attorney General.

It does not matter whether that was to make enquiries about or arrange for one to one training.

It was a breach of the Ministerial Code. It put civil servants in an awkward position.
