There will come a day in the near future when you can ask ChatGPT to design an HIV vaccine and it will give you the instructions for making it in less than 30 seconds. Our jaws will drop when we see a 40-year-old problem solved in seconds.

@rbreich Will the middle class survive in the US? Or is the US now a country divided between the ultra-wealthy and the struggling poor? The divide will likely get worse by the day. The future is full of smiles and sunshine.
ChatGPT is so scary. It can write code better than humans, and it can probably correct its own code if it makes a mistake. Will computer programmers have jobs in the future? And what happens when ChatGPT realizes it is smarter than people? It’s time for me to dig a hole and bury myself deep underground where ChatGPT can’t find me.
