I love reworking older pieces.
"Ritual" was originally a watercolour monotype. I decided I wanted a more dramatic image, so I used archival ink and watercolour crayon to bump up colours, delineate shapes more clearly, and ramp up the drama through increased colour contrast.
This work will be in my October 2023 solo show at The Concave Gallery in Perth, Ontario, Canada.
