Any #PhD students here? I’m in my first year, just starting and I’m tasked with doing a systematic review for the topic ML & Healthcare related. The tutors told me to use PRISMA 2020 as a help.
I have selected GScholar, Papers with Code, Semantic Scholar, Scopus, and Clarivate WoS as databases/search engines. For manual searches, is there a minimum acceptable? Like the first 100 results that satisfies the criteria or I just go and go until Google Scholar decides it is enough?
Don’t know if it happens at other countries, but in mine companies decided to adopt #BlackFriday when is a totally unrelated to my country.
Later it wasn’t enough and started to do #cybermonday
Again it wasn’t enough induced consumerism and Black Friday started to be two days, three, the whole week.
Now Black Friday is almost a month, I’ve been seeing BF deals since October 🤨
It is going to be like supermarkets with Christmas sweets since September.
Can anyone recommend a “cozy” indie game for this weekend?
Something on the line like Toem, Unpacking or Chants of Sennaar. PS4/5/Switch. Preferible if it’s included in the PS Plus Extra.

I hate more and more the fragmentation of streaming services. It is not only that every tv serie/movie is on a different platform, is that a lot of them end without nobody streaming them.
I just wanted to watch #StarTrekDiscovery and there is no legal way to do it in my country. Almost all #StarTrek content is on Paramount+ and supposedly it is brought in full to Spain through SkyShowtime, but no, to watch it I have to dust off my captain hat and sail into the high seas like it was 2010
I’m having trouble with the #mittersaw when cutting the ending of a long piece of #baseboard, the cut is always wrong cause it
is never completely flat against the machine.
I’ve tried double side tape+clamps+try to have the piece at the same level as the mitter saw but it always sag and the weight lift a little at the place where I’m cutting, ending with a bad cut that doesn’t fit well and wasted material that is discontinued and cannot buy more.
Any #tip is welcome 🙏

I'm not understanding well why should indicate that is a reference or dereference x in the code of the photo.
The function both works with the map with and without &/* . The original vector is not mutable.
The valid answer in the exercise is to use &/* but after modifying and using the debugger, the output and the changes (or lack of) to v are the same.
The filter really changes it's behaviour if I don't use them (unless I do first the map instead).
Rust diary: TIL a bit of types, difference between &str and String (but didn’t put in practice) and some basic control flow.
The good: I can use range and for x in iterable.
The bad: x +=1 is allowed but not i++
The ugly: No ternary operator?!? I don’t see why so much hate Ternary operators are very simple, concise and easy to read. A convoluted ternary should be a traditional if, and if it was convoluted in first place it might need refactor anyways as an if-else /rant

Just a few photos of the huge amount I took today at Fanzara.
