From the episode “Lisa’s Belly” (Season 33, Episode 5), where Lisa and Bart gain weight after taking a medication to combat an infection.

I can definitely relate to Lisa in this episode, because I have struggled with my body image for years, when my mother and older brother kept telling me that I was too heavy or not strong enough to lift, pull or push heavy objects, it made me feel body shamed.

In honor of Black History Month, today marks 61 years since Malcolm X was assassinated. As X was preparing to speak, chaos ensued when a black man in the audience angrily yelled “Get your hand out of my pocket!”, and then a trio of angry Nation of Islam members fired numerous shots at Malcolm, killing him. He was then rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
