Electrical engineer, musician, out and about on two wheels (bike or Vespa), I read a lot of books (aiming for about one per week, mostly SciFi, biographies, non-fiction), coffee-addict.

I may write about tech, music, retro, books... Currently trying my hands at blogging.

Fed up with the corporate internet, which is what brought me here.

Why 82MHz? Well I was born in 1982, and I studied electrical and telecommunications engineering, so the MHz is a nod to this :)

We're going to get this heatwave next week here in Germany with temperatures up to 36°C and not below 20°C even at night. I HATE this, it always wipes me out and I can't really do much when it's so hot.

Last year I bought a small AC unit that cools down one room of the apartment at least by a few degrees, and that is a lifesaver for me.

All the best dealing with the heat! Hope the heatwave subsides soon...

OCC 2025: Sunday, July 13th - Saturday, July 19th

Join the 5th Old Computer Challenge!

Sounds good! I think excluding all the bots is probably impossible because they keep changing user agents etc, they're not playing by the rules. But at the very least I don't want to make it too easy for them 😉
